My sneaky purchases

I got these flats from primark and have fallen in love with them, not just because they were £8 but because they are so cute

I tried them on with tights just to show the fit on my feet but please excuse the poor lighting that is making my black tights look blue

I then bought this £14.99 cropped marl jumper from H&M. I wore this to college today and got many compliments on it and it is also extremely warm.

The fabrics hard to describe so i thought i would take a close up of it but i believe it would be described as marl as it has flecks of black in it.

I have been eyeing this maxi skirt up for ages now and finally caved in. This is also £14.99 from H&M and is floral print with a cut up one side. I justified this buy because I'm going on holiday to Barbados on Sunday and thought this would look great at night however this will definitely make an appearance in England once the weather gets better.

Cropped jumper and skirt paired together

Next i went into Newlook which is a shop i don't go into very often but was pleasantly surprised when i found this coral maxi skirt in sale. The photo make the skirt look vibrant pink but i promise you it's coral. As i said before I'm going on holiday in a couple of days so when i saw this skirt in sale reduced from £15 to £4 i just had to get it. I think it will be perfect as a holiday evening skirt. The only problem i have found with it is the material is a cotton that will crease easily however for the reduced price it didn't put me off.

Thanks for reading hope you have a good weekend!

Acne skin saviours

For the last month of so my skin has literally gone crazy on my which i have concluded has been down to Mac studio fix foundation that i stupidly got in the habit of using everyday when it's really stage makeup (is bad for acne prone skin). As much as i love Mac my skin doesn't so i have to be careful especially with the face products with how often i use them.

Anyway moving onto what this post is about, i have been using various different products to try to clear  my spots and i thought i would share with you the best two i found.

This is the Clearasil rapid action pads that help to reduce spot size and redness within 4 hours. Now i have tried many spot treatments and i can honestly say non have worked as well as this for me. In the pot are these textured pads that are soaked in a spot treatment. Now if we were going on smell this would not win because they are very strong smelling and sometimes you have to take the pad away from your face because it smells so strong but for me if it works i don't care. You can tell by looking at the ingredients that it's a good treatment as in has Salicylic acid in it which is a well known spot treatment and is one you should look for in acne treatments. I can honestly say this product does live up to it's expectations and does work in 4 hours. All you need to do when using this is lightly scrub the face in circular motions. Don't be alarmed if the skin looks red and slightly stings as this is just the product starting to work and after a minute or so will calm down and start to clear. I give this product 9/10 overall as i was extremely impressed and it has massively improved the look of my skin. It has even helped get rid of those little bumps that usually form around the forehead. I have never used a spot treatment that works as effectively and quick as this and would recommend to anyone with bad acne. i also use this product every other day as i personally believe it's too harsh to use everyday and would therefore disallow repairing properties in your skin to work properly.

This is the Visibly clear spot stress control 3 in 1 cleansing lotion. I use this product morning and night and have found that it has really helped in making my face feel smooth and well cleaned. I have found that this has really helped with the hyper pigmentation that has lingered on my skin for a while and have overall reduced my scars in size. I would say this product is less harsh than the Clearasil pads however it still has a strong smell similar to the pads. This product also include salicylic acid which as i explained is one of the best acne ingredients in skin products. I have found that this product has also helped to stop new spots forming and if i feel one under the skin i focus this product on it and by the next day it will have gone. I wouldn't say it helps with shine control which is one of the things it says it does but that might just be my skin as it's very oily. Overall i would give this product 9 out of 10. This would be because it doesn't help for oil control for me like it says it should however this product is so amazing that, that factor really doesn't bother me.

Hope you like this post and have found it helpful. I would really recommend these products to everyone as i have used so many spot treatments and these are two of very few that really work. I know whats it's like to feel self-conscious about my skin as i have struggled with it on and off through out my teenage years but these two products have really been a confidence booster for me. How people compare to Fruit and Veg

No i haven't gone crazy but i am in fact about to compare people to healthy snacks. You may wonder how i came up with the idea of this but that would open up the weirdness of my mind and i think thats for another day. So here it is how people compare to fruit and veg.

Apple- The person that everyone gets along with and is pretty much liked by everyone.

Orange- That friend that you have that you like but has a weird smell. You can be in a room full of people and without actually seeing them you know they are there

Pear- That person that you know gets along with old people/ adults. They are always chatting with teachers and the one that makes old people thing that not all youth are hopeless.

Kiwi- Your class mate that really needs to shave more.

Parsnip- That guy thats overly confident

Carrot- That guys that acts overly confident but really is like a snack pack carrot if you know what i mean

Potato- The person that you know you shouldn't be friends with as they are unhealthy for your mind but you just can't resist

Peas- The joker. So you know when your eating peas and one rolls away and your like 'haha i saw what you did there, you cheeky pea'. It's kind of like the joker when they act all innocent then they make an unexpected joke.

Passion fruit- The people that act overly loved up/ the guy that tries to serenade everyone. Does anyone else have that guy that walks around with his guitar playing music 'acting' like he's just playing when really he's trying to get girls to like him.

Sooooooooo there you go. Can you relate? If on please follow me on bloglovin it would make me really happy if you did. http://www.bloglovin.com/blog/11042293/lysette

Tuesdays are worse than mondays!

Everyone always complains about mondays saying they are the worst day of the week but for me i completely disagree. I feel like it is so much harder to wake up on a tuesday as you have had to wake up early on a monday and gone to bed late so on tuesdays you are doubly tired.

Also i feel like on sunday nights/ monday morning you have a little motivation speech with yourself making you feel inspired to be in a ok mood and to get though the day whereas on tuesday you see though your little motivational speech and just can't be ****** to lie to yourself. Nothing on a tuesday can make you feel motivated.

I don't know about you but tuesdays at college in general are my worst day. I have boring lessons and usually have to go to work after so they turn out being the most dragged out day ever. Also nearly every tuesdays 1 or 2 of your friends have skived of for it being such a bad day so theres not even that many good people to cheer you up.

Lastly your not even buzzed from the weekend anymore as a day has gone by and it's still so far till the up coming weekend.
